Welcome to my homepage!
On the following pages I would like to introduce myself to you as well as my field of practice.
Due to the high demand of midwives, I can only offer care to families with an estimated due date (EDD) in end of June or later.
Families who have been working with me before, please get in touch even if your EDD is before June.
Every woman who does not find a midwife, I recommend to consult this list of the midwifery association branch in Hamburg where you an find midwives with free capacities.
If you are interested or have any more questions feel free to contact me!
I was born in 1985 in Berlin and spent my childhood in South Germany. After I graduated from
school I spent a year in Lausanne (Suisse) as an aupair.
Back in Germany I studied “Modern Japanese” as well as “German Linguistics” in Duesseldorf
and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2010. 2008-2009 I spent a year in Chiba (Japan)
where I improved my Japanese (as well as my English).
In October 2010 I began my apprenticeship to become a midwife in Osnabrueck. As this
hospital had a contract with the NHS all British soldiers as well as their wives came for consulting
in any health questions. For that reason I was able to accompany many British women in
pregnancy and labour. 2013 I went to Birmingham (UK) for my external mission and was able
to learn a lot about midwifery in Great Britain, which was fascinating.
Since October 2013 I work as a self-employed midwife in Glinde and surrounding areas. As the
English language accompanied me over the last years I am fluent in English and am on ease
even with midwifery terms.
